Today a patron asked for DVDs of plays made into movies. She didn't have any particular play or author in mind. Doing an advanced search with "play" or "drama" as a keyword and limiting to Adult Feature Film DVDs brought up way too many hits.
I finally found a DVD of a play to check the record with an All Display. That showed the phrase, "based on the play," in the record. So, a keyword search using that phrase (using quotes), "based on the play", along with limiting to Adult FF DVDs, produced 74 hits. Even Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All by Myself was a play first!
